CHRISTMAS SOCIALS

  • Men's Socials - December 9, 11, 16, or 18
  • Women's Socials - December 9, 14, or 16
  • Youth Socials - December 12th 6-7:30pm
  • Kids Christmas Card Crafting - December 12th 6-7:30pm...Children of all ages are welcome to join in this festive time to make cards for the Wayside Cross Christmas collection gift bags.  Examples & all supplies will be provided in the mezzanine area of the gym.  Parent supervision/participation is necessary.  

CHRISTMAS SONGS

We'll be learning new songs this Christmas (a few each week), culminating in a Christmas Eve service with all new music.  Click below to listen & learn these modern, biblical carols. 

Wayside Cross Collection

We'll be collecting Christmas gift bags for the ministry at Wayside Cross in Elgin.  On DEC 19th, please bring 1 to 4 sets of the following to church:

  1. Gallon size zip lock filled with...
  2. mini tissue pack
  3. mini wipes pack
  4. mini lotion
  5. mini hand sanitizer
  6. chapstick

FLBC will also be adding a food item (treat) and a $10 gift card to Wayside's thrift store to each gift bag.

Christmas Eve

Please join us on Christmas Eve @ 7pm for a special time of worship to remember Christ's birth.  After the service ends there will be a cookie exchange & pizza party for those that desire to fellowship with church family, concluding the evening with a festive Christmas movie!

  • 7pm - Service
  • 7:45pm - Cookie Exchange
  • 8pm - Pizza Party (with salad & wings)
  • 8:45pm - Festive Christmas Movie

Consider being present to participate in any number of events throughout the evening.  For those that participate in the cookie exchange, please do NOT bake with any nut products. Also Note: There will be a GF table for treats without gluten.  FLBC will provide cookie plates for participants to exchange goods.  FLBC will also provide pizza (not GF), salad, wings, along with water...and popcorn for during the movie!  Please BYO - movie blanket & pillow if desired!
